Introducing Toledo Chiropractor, Dr. Steven Cook

Dr. Steven Cook Toledo Chiropractor

Dr. Cook is native to a small town located in the central region of New York State. As a young man, exposure to the beautiful countryside fostered a deep respect for his natural surroundings. This appreciation became an integral piece of his career choice as well. Seeking to utilize holistic methods in providing care, chiropractic was an obvious choice. He wanted to strengthen and support the body to alleviate discomfort and create better health, as opposed to masking the symptoms by artificial means. What he found in chiropractic was a whole body approach to wellness. Specifically, it was the Gonstead system of chiropractic that he found to recognize the intimate relationship between the structure and physiologic function of the human body.

Dr. Cook completed undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Oswego. He attended New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, graduating Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic in the spring of 2009. As a student, he studied rigorously and was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Honor Society. In addition, he was granted honors-based internship at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center of Buffalo, NY. There, he provided chiropractic care to our country’s veterans. Dr. Cook’s school-related clinical experience included support for athletes at the high school and collegiate levels, as well as serving patients at a prominent pain management clinic and donating care to underprivileged inner city populations.

As a resident of Toledo, Dr. Cook understands the importance of a strong, unified community. He is a member of a local business networking organization that emphasizes integrity in providing the highest quality services to each patient or customer. He also belongs to several social organizations that encourage strong bonds between members through activities such as outdoor events and intramural sports. Dr. Cook is an optimist by nature and enjoys building strong relationships with patients and community members in any way possible. In his personal time, Dr. Cook leads a very active life. He finds time to visit his local gym frequently and enjoys most outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, kayaking and snowboarding.
