Meet the ABA Family Chiropractic Holistic Health Center Team

Meet Nicole Warner BA, Licensed Massage Therapist

Nicole Warner, Licensed Massage Therapist

Nicole believes, “Massage offers peace, healing and so much more!” Due to her positive experience with natural holistic health care for her previously debilitating health challenge, Nicole decided to pursue a degree in massage therapy.

Following completion of a BA degree in Sociology and Community Development from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2003, Nicole developed fibromyalgia. Suffering from chronic pain and fatigue, she found regular massage gave her relief not only from the back and neck pain, but also from the headaches that she had been plagued with for most of her life. In addition to massage, Nicole received regular chiropractic adjustments and nutritional therapy from Dr. Mike and Nancy Pickens and eventually her health was completely restored.

In October of 2005, Nicole enrolled in the Northwest Academy of Massotherapy and graduated with top marks in December of 2007. After working as a massage therapist at the YMCA and Massage Envy, Nicole accepted an offer from Dr. Pickens to be the full time therapist at ABA Chiropractic, and started her practice here in April of 2010.

Nicole says she is a walking testimony for the power of natural holistic care and is honored to be part of the team at ABA Chiropractic. “My hope is that I provide you with a calm relaxing atmosphere, as well as, provide peace to your soul as you rest while receiving a quality massage. I look forward to meeting you and showing you the path to better health!”

Dr. Mike Asks some important questions of interest to Toledo residents - Chiropractor Toledo Dr. Mike Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Where do most Toledo residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Toledo newborn.
